Firefox will not start or reset or respond. Worked fine this morning

Locking duplicate thread.

It had been running slow and hanging up. Now has completely quit. Reinstalled 3 times. Will not run in safe mode. iMac running OS 10.9.1. Will not launch. Shows as not responding.
