My home page has altered and the tabs have altered. I need the original version back.
Another person tried to access outlook express through firefox. The settings have been completely changed and now are tabs are completely different and there is search bar. Please can you tell me how to restore the front page. I have a screen shot but am not sure how to add it.

You can check/modify the browser.newtab.url pref on the about:config page.

You can use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.
Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).
