How do i retrieve a password that Firefox has saved for a site that I have bookmarked if it's not showing up in Firefox/Security/ShowPasswords?

I am running the latest version of Firefox on my Windows XP machine. I have a bookmark on my bookmarks toolbar called 'Patrick's Hotmail'. When I click on this it takes me straight to my window's live hotmail inbox. (i.e. It's saved my user name and password and bypasses any login prompts). I've forgotten my password and have no other way of retrieving it. I have looked in Options/Security/ShowPasswords - but there is no listing for Windows Live or Hotmail. I have double checked this but there is nothing that refers back to that bookmark. Is my password saved in a cookie or some other sort of cache. Is there any way that I can view it somewhere? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Yes, you most likely have a cookie for the live.com site on that computer that remembers you.
If you do not have the password saved and you also do not remember it then you will have to ask for a password reset and possibly answer a secret question to get access if you do not have set a fall back email address.
