Firefox won't open
Firefox updated itself a few days ago, now it won't start at all.
I've downloaded the latest version from your site and installed that, which works but only for a few mins. I've had the option to 'start in safe mode' a couple of times, yet the software would still crash instantly as before.
Now I cant open a window at all..

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
