as above. am i blind???? where is the option in the account settings/profile edit to do this?
surely, it can't be absent. surely, mozilla wouldn't stoop to removing this basic right from the account holder.
would like to change username; can't find the way. plan B; delete the account and start a new one with desired usrnm.
neither appears to be possible.

There is not normally any need to delete the account.
You may unsubscribe to watched threads and you should then not be contacted again. You have made a specific request and as your profile page no longer exists I assume an admin such as Rosana has already deleted it.
While most people may not have a reason to delet an account, there are people who like to keep their online lives tidy. I'm one such person - I don't use any mozilla applications anymore, I have no need of my account here. Even if there's no simple "click this button" to delete an account, there should be information somewhere on where to send an email to get an account deleted. Which is something I'd like to do.

You have registered as you have a username.
The ordinary method is to post your own request in the contributors forum. Rosana is an admin and will be subscribed to this thread, so she will deal with it, if no other admin sees it first. I will amend the thread tile.
