bold textMy foxfire is not opening at all and just a box pops up that indicates a crash has occured. I can not get to safe mode. This morning I restored to a set point at the end of January because of a problem with my Desk top loading. Then I updated Windows and updated My Norton antivirus and security. Both did not indicate problems. After doing the previous is when I tried to open Mozilla and got the box indicating a crash. I then updated my graphic drivers. I did not run the suggestions for anti-malware because Norton did not give it a safe run.

I am not great at figuring out all the ins and outs of my system, so please be simple and blunt about what I need to do. Thanks

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
