When filling out a box that says for example e-mail:_____ and when i go to type in my e-mail address, old and unused e-mail addresses pop up. How do I delete those old e-mail addresses from my computer?

If you want to remove one of your previous form entries from Firefox's history:

  1. Click on the form field and press the down arrow key to display all the saved entries. You may type the first few letters of the entry to limit the number of entries displayed.
  2. Use the down arrow key or the mouse pointer to highlight the entry you wish to delete.
  3. Press Delete. The entry will be removed.

You may repeat the process for any number of entries for a particular form field.

Do you have any Add-ons that could be storing the Form data? Try running Firefox in Safe Mode then delete the form data.

Make sure you are ONLY HIGHLIGHTING the form entry, no Clicking it. If you are using the arrow key to select the entry, make sure you do not hit ENTER when its highlighted, only click DELETE (DEL) key

More intense Option:

  • Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL
  • Set "Time range to clear" to Everything.
  • Click the Arrow next to "Details" so that more options appear below it.
  • Put a check next to only "Forms & Search History"
  • Then click "Clear Now"
    • That will delete everything in all form fields.
