FF reformats web page when loading (changes black background to white and changes colors of fonts) on my computer but loads properly on my friends computer. How do I fix mine?

My home page, XXXX.Com loads properly on my friends computer with the same version of FF I am using (8.0.1) but on my computer it doesn't. The page is designed to have a black background with mostly goldish color type. On my computer, it loads with white background and black type. It loads correctly in Internet Explorer. Sub-pages do not load on either computer because I am using a Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP called HTML Slide Show Wizard which I assume is not compatible with FF. Thanks.
