After updating to 3.6.20, my location bar autocomplete ceased to function.

I updated my Firefox last week, to 3.6.20. Now my location bar does not autocomplete, does not offer a drop-down menu of recent history, etc. I now must type in the complete URL, and subsequently I use Google to find locations instead of using the location bar. In the Privacy settings, I have Firefox set to suggest History and Bookmarks.

This also coincided with the activation of my Frontier internet service, if that is possibly related.
