go to Help Menu -> select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled"

Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. You can enable the Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files key3.db and signons.sqlite that store the encrypted names and passwords in Firefox.
Rename the files key3.db and signons.sqlite in the Firefox profile folder.
You can add .old to the file names (key3.db.old and signons.sqlite.old) or move them to another folder to make it possible to undo the action.
You need to set a new Master Password after renaming or deleting key3.db and all currently saved passwords are lost.
If that has worked then you can remove the renamed files that are no longer needed.

Tried this, no change. When restarted the saved passwords are gone.

I have now tried both responses. Passwords still missing. It asks if I want to remember the password, I say I do and when I look it is there. Close Firefox. Restart Firefox. Passwords gone!

Figure this out, apparently when Firefox updated or something it changed something. OPTIONS>PRIVACY>CLEAR HISTORY WHEN FIREFOX CLOSES>SETTINGS>DATA>Saved Passwords was checked. Unchecked it and everything working fine now. Thanks for the help.

DAMN IT!!!! updated to 5.0 and ALL the saved passwords are gone. WTF! This is completely LAME! Damn it Mozilla!!!!! this is utter bullshit! if this happens again I'm leaving!
