The right side of the screen is hidden. Re-booting didn't fix it. I've downloaded and and updated Firefox but that did not clear up the problem. None of the other programs , IE Office, etc. have this problem.

go to help at the top of your firefox browser an click on help then click on restart with Add-ons disabled, Firefox will restart as basic and it should be back to normal, then you can turn the add-ons back on by going to tools at tghe top of the screen and then click add-ons

It is possible that the screen is too wide or too high and that the scroll bars fall off.
Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window.
If that works then close Firefox (File > Exit/Quit) to save that setting.

In full screen mode the screen looks normal but I lose the tool bars. In minimize mode, the tool bars look good but the rest of the screen shifts to the right where I lose the scroll bar.

A. Simply go to:

1.View 2.Select tool bars 3. Uncheck any of the toolbars below: a. Babylon toolbar b. Softonic Eng 7 Community tool bar!

4.Finish.... if nothing happened try to unchechked other tool bars.

B. Or u can simply disable some of the toolbars: simply go to 1. Tools 2. Add - ons Manager 3. Extensions 4. Disable or Remove the toolbars you suspect causing problems.

That's it!

I ran Restart with Add-ons disabled. The screen is back to normal. Now, how do I re-enable my add-on? This website (https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Add-ons%20are%20disabled%20after%20updating%20Firefox) said rebooting would re-enable the add-ons. It did but the screen problem is back. Is there a way to fix the screen AND keep add-ons?

It would be nice to know what the bad addon(s) were since 10 people had a problem there may be more than one extension.

Setting aside extensions you don't really need is a start, but to identify which one is bad you probably need a systematic approach of testing see item #4 in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Extension_issues

I have noticed quite a few similar reports, I listed some in this thread: but not certain what the guilty software is, and it could be more than one or only a particular version but Two /questions/847465#answer-213335 [questions/847840#answer-213327] [&] posts said it was the Babylon toolbar
