In the previous versions of FireFox I Could push the RSS sign in the addressbar and choose to have the feed on my bookmark toolbar. In that way i could push the feed name on the bar and see names of feeds i have read and them I havent read and decide whiche one to go to. today when i save a bookmark to the toolbar and then push it there, instead of showing me the different content in a folding menu like before, the whole page jumps to the website. How can I save the feed from the website like before?

You can find the RSS feed (Subscribe) button in the toolbar palette in the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window and drag the button on a toolbar.

Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

I do not have an RSS Feed button in the toolbar palette. I'm running Firefox 3.6.17. Where do I get this RSS button? All that is available is:

Separator Flex Space Space Print Activity Indicator Downloads New Tab New Window Cut Copy Paste Full Screen Web Developer

Thank you!

The RSS feed button was removed from the location bar in Firefox 4 and changed to a regular toolbar button.
Firefox 3.6.x versions only displayed the RSS button on the location bar if a website has a feed to subscribe to ("Bookmarks > Subscribe to This Page" is enabled)

You should see the RSS button if you visit this page.

- Go to the Tools menu - select Options. - At the top of the Options window, click 'Applications'. - Scroll down to 'Web Feed' and make sure the Action is set to 'Add Live Bookmarks in Firefox'. - Click OK. - Navigate to the desired website, go to the Bookmarks Menu and select 'Subscribe to this Page'

Why doesn't the RSS feed button placed on my navigation toolbar light up when a website has a feed to subscribe to?

And why can't I access the summary feed page instead of only individual feeds?

I'm using FF 6.0.1

Thanks!
