after updated to firefox 4 and getting a message to reboot to install updates it does not allow us to get on mozilla firefox

We updated our current mozilla firefox to firefox 4 and the message to reboot the system came up and after rebooting.. we keep receiving the message and can not get on mozilla firefox.
