Firefox 4.0 on my Puppy Linux system ALWAYS opens with home page

I recently installed Firefox 4.0 on my Puppy Linux system. Everything is OK except it ALWAYS opens with the home page, even if I invoke it by clicking a link in my e-mail program, or I try to run it from the command line with a URL or a filename as an argument. With Firefox 3.6.10 on the same system, I didn't have this problem; clicking a link to a page opened Firefox with that page displayed, and so on. The guy who packaged Firefox 4.0 for Puppy says he doesn't have this problem. The "run-mozilla.sh" script appears to be correctly set up to run Firefox with an argument. Can somebody tell me what might be preventing this version of Firefox from recognizing arguments on my system, and how to fix it? If so, thanks in advance!
