firefox won't load. period. won't load from the shortcut, from files, as administrator. Help!!!!
clicking on the icon on the desktop shows a brief "load" of 1 second or less (the blue circular arrow) then, stops.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
