Cannot add bookmarks after troubleshooting
Using OS-x 10.6.5 on my mac. Cannot add bookmarks at all and no pop-up appears. If I click the 'star' icon or 'add bookmark' nothing happens.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
