At log on, a pop-up appears: Although this page is encrypted, Are you sure that you want to continue sending this information? I am given 2 options " continue" and "cancel". I click on "continue", and the whole process repepeats itself.
This problem has occurred in the past with the loading of FF occurring after 2 viewings of the warning pop-up. After clicking on "continue " for the 2nd. time, FF loaded.

Are you referring to when you start Firefox?
If so, are you loading 2 Homepages on startup?
Yes. I made a mistake when I reloaded(after the computer came back from repair) and identified msn.com and mozillaFF as home pages. I'm not smart enough to know how to un-do the thing.
