On certain news web sites, the front page displays ok, but click on a story, it displays and then I get the popup file not found.
On the Boston Globe web page, for example, their home page displays just fine. When I click on any news title, the page displays for an instant and then this pops up:
File not found
Firefox can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/chrome/en-US.jar!/locale/browser-region/region.propertieswd.sharethis.com.
* Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
* Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.
I click on the "Try Again" button and nothing happens.

This is to add to my question. I have 5 news sites that are doing the file not found popup. I also noted on the file not found page that on each of these news sites the same address shows which is:
Firefox can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/chrome/en-US.jar!/locale/browser-region/region.propertieswd.sharethis.com
If you need this, the web sites are: Baltimore Sun; Boston Globe; Panatgraph.com; Chicago Tribune and Atlanta Journal/Constitution.
I have many more news sites I visit that, so far, are working.
Hope you can help me.
Thanks
The jar: issue can be caused by the "Ask.com Toolbar" or the "ZoneAlarm Spy Blocker Toolbar" or the Fox-it toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions).

You're welcome
Vuze installs ask.com's tool bar also. Check for a Vuze plug in. Thanks for the fix.
