Tried to get my Xfinity/Comcast Email Page & got this message....

                       ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
" Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to oauth.xfinity.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
                       ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I have a fairly new HP -PC Laptop -Windows 10 & Firefox just updated today to 115.0 version I also have Webroot SecureAnywhere, which has just scanned computer & found everything running good.

I have had No Problem until today. Other than firefox updating me to the 115.0 version today, nothing has changed since yesterday or the day before or the day before that, so on & so on.

Can someone PLEASE help a person that's not real technically savvy (me)??

I Anxiously wait a Reply Soon I Hope Thank You Patti Tray

Of course if anyone answers, unless I can see it here, I naturally won't be able to see it as I cannot login to my email. Thanks Again Patti Tray

Mozilla doesn't want us to any more. Their latest update #115 kicked us off the boat. I am swimming away to Edge.

Thanks for your reply David. Are you a Mozilla/Firefox employee? Well, when I just turned on my computer & clicked for my xfinity/comcast email, it gave me the same exact error message as yesterday, but the first tab that had come up is new weird "Discovery" page as new way to sign in to Xfinity/Comcast which I've never used yet but there is a spot to click on for emails so I did & my email page came right up. I don't know what happened but fingers crossed it has been fixed, if not I do have a Microsoft Edge account that I never use. But thanks again David for replying, people never seem to answer me. Hi Patti, the message PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR indicates that the server, or a router between Firefox and the server, sent Firefox a RST message. RST tells Firefox to immediately stop trying to connect. So the mystery is, why??

Or maybe I should may the mystery was why, since you found a new way. Possibly the old address you were using was retired??

If the problem returns, feel free to return to this thread or start a new one.

I think it's this page: https://www.xfinity.com/hub/

Looking for email? You can now check your Comcast email by selecting your account icon in the navigation menu or using this link.

Hi jscher2000 > yes that link is the address that shows when click for Xfinity. > the address- oauth.xfinity.com - is new, I thought it even might be some kind of virus, etc. so I kept trying to

   type in just xfinity.com but would still get the error page.

> fingers crossed it is fixed, but I will save this thread in case I need you again.

Thank You Very Much jscher2000
