I have experience and received multiple reports from users that when pressing and holding the "backspace key" in a input field on a website that the browser is pausing anywhere from 3 to 8 seconds.

I reviewed tickets for the last year and this started showing up about 8 months ago and it has gotten worse over time. I manage hundreds of users and most have stop using the browser because of this problem. The browser.backspace_action is set to 2 for all of the users.

Sites I have received multiple reports about are Twitter.com, Facebook and Instagram. Other sites like portal.azure.com, portal.microsoft.com and mozilla.org.

I have experienced it a lot even when entering this ticket.

Operating systems effected are Windows 10, 1903-21h2, Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 Standard/Datacenter fully patched and updated.

Anti-virus install on the machines are BitDefender, SentinelOne, and Microsoft Defender AV.

Firewalls range from SonicWall, Fortinet, WatchGuard and Cisco ASA, which are all up to date and patch.

Java is at its latest version when I check after receiving a report from a user.

Bandwidth to the internet is 100mb to 2gb.

I have tried disabling all extensions and the problem still occurs.

Needless to say but the browser is always at the latest version when I check.
