Color shift when copy/pasting image from Firefox

Lately I've come to realize that when you copy/paste an image directly out of Firefox there's a distinct color shift (it's lighter and desaturated) when you paste that image into a graphics program like Photoshop. If you manually save the image and then open it in Photoshop, there is no color shift. If you copy/paste the same image from Chrome or Safari and paste it into Photoshop there is no color shift and it looks great. It would greatly improve my workflow if I could figure out how to fix this.

In the attached image you'll see the original image saved from Firefox with "save image as..." and on the right the same image copy & pasted into Photoshop. I do not think this is a color management/profile issue in Photoshop, as copying from a variety of other sources doesn't cause the shift.
