Can't download PDF from Google Drive in Firefox

Option exists in Drive to download as PDF. Does not display a blocked message. You can see in bottom left corner the "preparing data" message. But nothing happens - no download, save as - appears. This is not a issue in Chrome. Mozilla...what is going on? I am more frequently running into to annoying issues with Firefox.

Hello zcourtheoux,

I see this problem mentioned in many threads on different forums ....

Maybe this add-on might work for you :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/google-drive-downloader/

Under "About this extension" its says (among other things) :

"Please note that any supported format which you wish to download will be downloaded as a "PDF" File. "

Worth a try ....

Thank you. Interestingly, I tried on my other laptop - a exact clone - and it worked. So something is amiss here. I may refresh this install because it does some weird things sometimes, and I'm not running add-ons other than ad blocker and PW manager.
