Previously, firefox had the system to automatically resume the failed downloads, but now it's not happening that way.

If the download gets interrupted somehow due to network problem or sleep mode of the laptop, it is not getting resumed from the previous point. Rather, it starts downloading the whole file from the start. The problem wasn't there before and is occurring from a while ago.
