Firefox crashes
Submitted crash report ID is Crash ID: bp-a6357aca-486d-40f7-a97d-b1c160181026
Crash originally occurred while auto update was being applied. Tried uninstall and reinstall with no luck. Tried new profile with no luck. With or without safe mode, page starts to load and closes with crash report. Does not appear to be a hardware problem. Not an antivirus issue as I only use MSE. Thanks for any help.

thanks for the feedback. unfortunately this type of crash seems to be tied to the particular cpu model you're using (we have already seen occasional problems and crash spikes with it in the past). i guess it won't be easy to come up with a fix for that - do the 32bit versions of firefox work better for you?: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

hi, can you please test firefox 64 beta to see if the same problem is still apparent there? https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/channel/desktop/
Thanks Philipp but it still does not work. Now when it attempts to start it just stops and I get a Windows error with the following details: Problem signature:
