The manage data screen does not display the controls at the bottom to remove cookies. How do I get the screen to display properly?

Ever since the upgrade to Quantum, the Manage Data screen does not display properly. I've been unable to clear the cookies and cache. I've attempted to increase the screen size so that the bottom controls will display, with minimal success. Sometimes the "remove selected" options will show, but not the rest of the control options. The entire screen NEVER shows.

However, I am able to scroll the contents -- just can't remove anything.

Will attempt to show screenshot. (Sorry for the poor quality, it's from my phone.) But you can still see the nothing appears at the bottom of the window, which is the problem. I can't get the entire screen to display, ever.

Please help with this so that I can use the feature.

Separate Security Issue, please update your Flash 27.0 r0 by removing it with this tool : https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html If you use it Reinstall with Flash Player Version: 30.0.0.134 Current Version https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

Hi, it is a issue you can not see more of the screen. You can see in the screen shot that there is a Scroll Bar to the Right ans is not being used to scroll down the page to see more.

But for Manage Date it is in Clear Data and cookies are in there also. If want to save any cookies take the check mark out of the cookies box.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

The scroll bar for the main Options page functions normally, but the only scroll bar on the Manage Data screen is within the screen. It controls which items to select, but it does NOT scroll the entire screen, therefore scrolling is not the solution for this problem.

When the Manage Data screen is open, the scroll bar on the Options page is not available; the only cursor activity possible when the Manage Data screen is open is on that screen itself.

Finally, are you suggesting that this problem is an Adobe issue rather than Firefox? Why would that be so, since this is a feature within the Firefox software and does not occur elsewhere?

Thanks for the suggestions but please offer a solution that works.

Manage Cookies and Site Data was changed with Firefox 60 - that's is what your screenshot is showing.

Please see this support article for the new prefs panel. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/delete-cookies-remove-info-websites-stored#firefox:win7:fx61

No more scrolling down a listing of websites. You need to use the Search field at the top to see the websites that you want see the cookies for. IMO, very poor in comparison to what earlier versions of Firefox had.

The Cache" has a new Clear Data panel. As far as the Cache goes, see this support article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache#firefox:win7:fx61

I'm not sure when that got changed.

It's OK with me to use the screen as is when it displays properly. The problem is that it won't display the controls at the bottom, so I am unable to complete the function.

For all practical purposes that makes it useless.

I need a solution!

Try to zoom out the page with Ctrl and + (plus) to see if that make the buttons appear.

Otherwise you can use this chrome URI to open "Manage Cookies and Site Data" in a tab.

  • chrome://browser/content/preferences/siteDataSettings.xul

Firefox uses the "chrome://" protocol to access its internal files (no relation with Google Chrome).
