Hi if you are looking for the menus at the top there are 2 ways to put them back. 3 Bar Menu --> Customize --> mouse to Bottom and Click on Toolbars. or Mouse to the top of the browser and right click and turn on the Menus.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I do not think you did as I suggested as you would not have repeated what you did as I gave you the answer to return to what you replied with.

Please mark this as solved.

Then if you do not like the old Menu Bar at the top of the browser that is that. As the old saying adapt or.... What you want is available in several different ways and places. Sorry you do not like what you feel is not the same.

Do feel free to adapt and move.

Hi wilbargs, there isn't a direct replacement for the Legacy extension Add Bookmark Here 2. It was very full featured.

With respect to creating a new menu item to add a bookmark to a folder, unlike the total free-for-all of legacy extensions, new extensions have a constrained way that they interact with the interface. Mostly it's through the right-click context menu, for example like this one:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/bookmark-tab-here/

  • click Bookmarks
  • right-click folder (or an item in the folder)
  • click Bookmark Tab Here on the bottom of the menu
  • done (you can click the blue star in the address bar to confirm the correct folder was selected)

It requires Firefox 59 or higher, and while it should work on the Bookmarks Menu, it isn't able to integrate with the Bookmarks Sidebar.

If you try it, let us know what you think.
