Why can't I email to a certain email address?
This is only happening to one email, i can email them from my private phone. I get this message when I try to send. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: 5.1.1 < xxx @bayelectric.com>... User unknown. Please check the message recipient " xxx @bayelectric.com" and try again

I would suggest you check the email address for spaces either before or after as well and internal to the typing. Just as is shown in your error message. the space between the X and the @ would be invalid.
Invalid spaces before and after are also easy to have, even in the address book.
I should add that we have always been able to email to this address until recently, and yes they have a new system but can receive emails from everyone else.
