Change white background colour of page when first launching Firefox and "Connecting.." to internet

Hi, I am using Firefox ESR 52.6.0 (32-bit) and I want to change the initial load page colour when first starting Firefox.

On my laptop, it can take a number of seconds for the first web page to load - and in the mean time, I am dazzled by a white screen. ( Not so nice late at night... ;-)

Have tried looking at settings in Options/General/Startup and these do not appear to kick in until Firefox has loaded and has an internet connection.
