when i try to load facebook, i get this on my screen:

https://screenshots.firefox.com/zUzv2RQTLCty4W7X/www.facebook.com

no matter how often i enter my login information, facebook will not load. i haven't encountered any issues with other websites, just facebook. i am currently running firefox 56.0.2 (downgraded from firefox quantum), but i would go to an earlier version in a heartbeat, assuming that i could find one. a few articles suggested some things i could try - which i did - and nothing has worked. i can't blame my firewall, because if it had an issue, i wouldn't be connected via firefox - right?? someone, please help me fix this, i don't want to go back to Internet Explorer.

ok, it's an hour or so later... managed to get the 'automatic updates' set so i can choose when/if i update... 56.0.2 still wants to update to quantum (not so fast, grasshopper!), but i can wait for that part... i can get into facebook, all is 'more right' with the world... liking the 'screenshot' capability, it's kinda nice to be able to show someone what's on my screen without them being over my shoulder... still wondering why quantum would have a problem with the facebook login screen, but i'm not a programmer, and i probably wouldn't understand it if someone tried to explain it to me...

peace out...
