In my case, (v 55.0.3) after updating, a lot of links (not all) will open in "e". This occurs randomly. Since I refuse to use "e", except for the dumb webmeisters that force one to wonder if I delete "e" will this hurt win 10 operations.

IE is part of Windows. Removing it would cause problems.

Open Windows Internet Explorer. Have it declared as the default browser, But turn off the option to check this when the browser opens (If you want).

Now do the same thing using Firefox.
