STOP! Most likely it is malware.

Every day new, oddly named sites pop up with a fake Firefox "patch" designed to install malware on your system. These sites are abusing the Firefox logo to trick users into trusting the file, one of the standard ploys of phishing sites.

If you downloaded it but did not run it, I suggest CAREFULLY deleting it:

When you are using the downloads panel (the one attached to the toolbar button), be careful not to click the download as that may execute it immediately. Instead, right-click it and choose Open Containing Folder. That will launch a file window with the unwanted download highlighted, and then you can press the Delete key to send it to the Windows Recycle Bin.

If the download has already disappeared from the panel, the same mouse action works in the full download list (Ctrl+j or "Show All Downloads").

If you ran it:

Please try Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to clean your system:

Since the malware distribution page appears to be opening from advertisements on sites that users visit, it might help to use an ad blocking extension. These are popular (Note: you would only want to use one at a time):

I didn't down load it. And yes, I use Malawarebytes+ AVG free. It seems to pop up when on wnd.com I will download the blockers listed above and see how that goes.
