In open browser, click on open Star next to Bookmark Menu icon, Firefox brings up the Page Bookmarked dialog box, in this dialog box there is a Create Folder button. when i click on this Create Folder button in the Page Bookmarked dialog box, it temporarily adds a Folder named New Folder with White background, then background then almost immediately turns to a Blue background and is set at 'New Folder' under Unsorted Bookmarks rather than Bookmarks Menu. this all happens almost instantly before i can type in the White background. i saw a thread about this but, the fix did not work for me as i do not have any AddOns to edit. i saw a second thread about this but, the fix also did not work for me; download the Extension "Places Maintenance" and run it. This Option, to create a New Folder 'on the fly' while bookmarking a webpage used to work for me sometime back. it has not worked for me for sometime. I now use a workaround by simply letting the new Bookmark be place in Unsorted Bookmarks, open a new Tab, choose Home icon, choose Bookmarks icon at the bottom of the Home Page for Firefox, right click on Bookmarks Menu, select 'Add a Folder', name it, Save it, right click on Bookmarks Menu again, select 'Sort by Name', then select Unsorted Bookmarks, choose the new Bookmark created earlier, move it to correct Folder. if you have a fix for this, other than the two above i mentioned that do not work for me, please respond to this thread. thanks, david
