The searchbar disappears when opening a new window

more options

So everytime I open a a new window in any way, the searchbar just disappears for no reason. I can bring it back via the customize menu, but after opening a new window it goes away again. I tried to disable all add-ons but that didn't do anything... Version is 44.0b7, and this hasn't happened in earlier versions.

Is this the search bar on the Navigation Toolbar?

Try to rename (or delete) the xulstore.json file in the Firefox profile folder.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

So this kinda worked. Opening a new window still removes the search bar, but now when closing the new window the search bar comes back. And yes the search bar is in it's default position next to the navigation bar.
