Mac 10.11.2 Firefox unresponsive and extremely slow

Since my last update the browser became impossible to use. I checked other threads, re-installed and have implemented a few fixes with absolutely no results. It's dead!

btw just updated to 43.0.4 and it's marginally faster but still impossible to use
