Firefox doesn't work in Windows 10, but I don't have Trusteer Rapport as suggested in Forum.

When I click on Firefox icon, it opens. When I attempt to enter a url, it presents "Well, this is embarrassing" error message and becomes nonresponsive. I have attempted both "restore" and "close" but get the same frozen screen on reopening. Your forum suggests that the problem is Trusteer Rapport. To my knowledge, I do not have Rapport (have never heard of it and it does not show up on my list of apps). I also tried downloading latest version but also got the same result. Firefox used to be my default browser (Win 8.1 and earlier).

Following advice on forum, I looked at crash reports and found this single ID in the period after I upgraded to Win10: bp-9f2cbb58-8637-4cce-b84c-4e2322150826
