How can I change my classic view to an updated view?

more options

When I first purchased my computer when I opened a new window there were pages I visited the most that would display so I could quickly go where I wanted. Now somehow I accidentally switched it to the old view and I do not know how to switch it back. Can you please help!! I really like and depended on the updated version.

Thank you.

Do you mean your start page and/or home page had image or links representing your frequently visited pages?

Firefox has a built-in page like that when you open a new tab (either Ctrl+t or click the "+" button next to the current page's tab). Is that the one you mean?

There also are a number of add-ons, sometimes called speed dials, that you can use to create a page like that. Your "More System Details" doesn't show any add-on like that installed at the moment.

If you check your Windows desktop, do you see a folder named Old Firefox Data? If you used the Refresh feature, your old settings folder (including old add-ons) would have been moved to an Old Firefox Data folder. Some users get a report during an update that Firefox is performing slowly and you can speed it up by restoring some default settings. If you click that, then the Refresh kicks in.

If you have an Old Firefox Data folder, could you look inside at the time the settings files were last updated? If they are very fresh, then we could suggest how to proceed from there.
