Firefox intermittently slow to load
Hardly worth a complaint, but sometimes frustrating. I'm running Firefox 37.0.1 under Windows Vista/64. It's not just this version, however, I have had the problem with previous ones as well.
When I click the Firefox icon in my tray, it often takes as long as 10 seconds for the browser (with a blank starting page) to appear on the screen. Now if an instance of Firefox is already running, it comes up instantly. This condition will continue until, for some unknown reason, I click on the icon and it appears very quickly, and continues to do so for as long as several days. Then it's back to 6-10 seconds. Nothing else changes, no updates or anything. Any ideas?

Hi,
The loading of Firefox sometimes depend on your computer specifications. The big factor is the processor. A processor is the logic circuitry that responds to and processes the basic instructions that drive a computer.
You may also scan your computer for viruses. Virus is one factor that affect the stability of Firefox.
I recommend using this tool for scanning your computer to check for viruses. You can download it here: http://www.kaspersky.com/antivirus-removal-tool?form=1&ICID=Global_FREE_Win_KVRT_Download_Button
Please let me know if this helps.
Thank you!
