After latest upgrade, getting sync password error

I just updated to FF 35.0.1 from the version immediately previous. Had previously updated to the new sync and everything was working perfectly. Now on one computer, I keep getting "sync encountered an error while syncing: Icorrect account name or password. Sync will automatically retry this action". I check my preferences and it tells me to sign in. I try to sign in and I keep getting the same error. I know my password is correct, as it works on my laptop and my android device without error. At some point after attempting to log in, I get a notification that "sync is enabled and will begin momentarily", however, I still show as logged out and the same error message comes up. This is the computer that I sync all the others to, so it is most important that sync works here.

I am running windows 7 SP1 with all the latest updates. My last completed sync with one minute prior to the update of FF.

f you change your Sync password, you might see this error message on your other devices "Sync encountered an error while connecting: Incorrect name or password." error appears in the bottom error bar. You can update your password on your device by completing the following steps:

   * Click the menu button  and choose Options.
  • Select the Sync panel.
  • Click 'Sign in' and enter your password in the sign in page.
  • Click Sign in to sign back in to Sync.
