Just clean-installed OS X Yosemite, running Firefox 33 and getting TONS of "CGContext..." errors, such as these:

   CGContextTranslateCTM: invalid context 0x0
   CGContextScaleCTM: invalid context 0x0
   CGContextSetAlpha: invalid context 0x0
   CGContextSetShouldAntialias: invalid context 0x0
   CGContextConcatCTM: invalid context 0x0
   CGContextScaleCTM: invalid context 0x0
   CGContextSetInterpolationQuality: invalid context 0x0
   CGContextDrawImage: invalid context 0x0

I found this thread (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/984296) and the consensus there seemed to be that this was a bug fixed in Firefox 29.

BTW, I did copy and paste my old extensions into my new extensions folder when I installed Yosemite, don't know if that's relevant.

Thanks for any help.

Have you tried to disable scrolling acceleration in the Firefox Menu > Preferences > Advanced > General ?

If I may humbly also ask that you follow the new bug that we have opened up to investigate if this is indeed a regression: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1087065

Sorry for the delay in following up with your reply. I disabled scrolling acceleration but still have the errors.

I'm still having this issue. It also looks like nothing's happened yet on bugzilla. Just wondering if there's anything I can do to nudge this along.

After some more research the reference to these calls is below: https://developer.apple.com/library/i.../index.html

It also seems like these could be ignored if it is not affecting the functionality? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../981674?page=2

I also found this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1058713 Can you please test if this is still happening if you install beta?

Thanks for the research. I can't be sure that it doesn't affect performance. I mean it must to some degree; there are LOTS of errors generating.

I would like to try that build, but the link is dead.
