when i try to download, the set up get downloaded, then when i run it, it says extracting and then i click on install. after this installation doesnt complete??
i had to uninstall firefox as it wont change the settings as per my requirements. for starters it wont set the homepage to google. so i read on the internet that some files block it so i should uninstall firefox and install it again. now when i try to install, the set up is downloaded, and then when i run it, it says extracting. after this when i click on install, it says "one moment, firefox will launch as soon as installation is complete". but the bar above that which shows how much % download is completed, it hasnt even started. i have been waiting for 1 hour for it to complete installation but it doesnt move ahead. can somebody please help?? Info: i have windows 7

Try to download the full package instead of the Stub (compressed) version
If you're on Windows Vista/7/8, try right clicking the installer and clicking Run As Administrator
