Is it possible to backup Bookmarks Folders separately?

I want to link my bookmarks that only relevant to my proffesion on my curriculuim vita. My bookmarks are organized according to specific subjects in particular folders accordingly, e.g. A, B, C, D, E, F. Assuming I want to make a link only of folder A, is this possible and how should it be done!?

Thanks,

Thomas

No, Firefox does not have a way to backup individual folders of bookmarks.

You can export your bookmarks in HTML format, then open that bookmarks.html file in Firefox using File > Open File, and use a bookmarklet to make the content editable. Hi-light and delete (Ctrl + X) the bookmarks that you don't want to have exported and then save those that you do want to share.

Then that file to can either be imported into another browser (most all browsers can import a bookmarks.html file) or be displayed using Open File in any browser.

Try to find your Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data . In this folder there are all of your bookmark backup..maybe this is the solution..
