I changed the font color of all menus in firefox to white (using userChrome.css) because I am using a custom dark windows 7 theme, where all context menus are dark. The problem is that the Firefox button menu (the menu that appears when you click on the orange firefox button) remains a bright white and blue, making it near impossible to read the white text. Is there anyway to change the two backgrounds of the firefox button menu, or perhaps change it so it appears just like my context menus? (via add-on or by adding to userChrome.css) thanks

You can use these two as selectors of both panes in the Firefox menu button drop-down list.

#appmenuPrimaryPane
#appmenuSecondaryPane

I need to change the menu that appears when you click on the button, not the button itself

sorry, but I have one more question. What do I add to userChrome.css to change a submenu within the firefox button menu? (see picture)

This should catch them all:

#appmenu-button menupopup {
 background-color: #xxxxxx !important;
 color: white !important;
 -moz-appearance: none !important; /* you may need this rule */
}

that didn't work, even with the -moz-appearance: none rule  :/
