How do I force all supported video and audio to download instead of playback?
I'm asking about all audio and video supported by the browser itself, rather than plugins like Flash. Not starting the player automatically would help as well. I'm always listening to something else so having the browser make unscheduled noises is bad.

You can set the media.windows-media-foundation.enabled pref to false on the about:config page to disable the built-in HTML5 media player.
