Firefox completely ignores every scroll line setting in the universe
I'm on Kubuntu 12.04. Many months ago, I found that when I set my OS to scroll one line at a time, this worked for other applications, but not for Firefox. So, I went into about:config and set mousewheel.withnokey.sysnumlines to false and set the number of lines to 1. This worked until anywhere from a few days to a few weeks ago (it was very hard to notice and I can't remember when I did). Firefox has reverted back to scrolling 3 lines at a time, and nothing in KDE's configuration or about:config is changing that. This problem persists in safe mode.

hello Cadeyrn, the scrolling behaviour has changed in firefox 17 - those old preferences in about:config are now obsolete.
try to make the values of mousewheel.default.delta_multiplier_x, mousewheel.default.delta_multiplier_y & mousewheel.default.delta_multiplier_z smaller...

Thanks. You know, if Firefox is gonna require a setting as basic as scroll lines to be set in about:config (I know that in theory your OS should be able to handle it, but this obviously isn't the case in practice for many people), there should be a better system for people to be notified when said about:config setting changes.
