I would like to uninstall the "SCRIPTS" add-on. It is very annoying to deal with this one. Would you please step me through the removal process?? I am enjoying all the other features of FIREFOX. I have Microsoft XP installed on my PC. I tried all the avenues to my knowledge--to no avail.. Please Help me out.. Thanks, John R Bittner 2bitts@comcast.net

I do not see an extension at addons simply called "SCRIPTS", but the method to uninstall is easy.

  1. "Ctrl+Shift+A" (or Tools > Options > Add-ons)
  2. Select "Extensions" on the left, it is a jigsaw puzzle piece
  3. Find your extension in the list then click on "Uninstall"
  4. Click on "Restart now" to close and restart Firefox, or do it later

Once Firefox has been restarted, the extension has been uninstalled.

What is the actual name of the extension, because I'd like to know what is so annoying. If it is "NoScript" then I would understand.
