Only 1 tab will open at a time. I can't open more tabs. Please help.

Only 1 tab opens up while using Firefox. I have checked my Tabs in Tools and all are checked. I am unable to open more than one window at a time in Firefox. There is an "X" instead of an tab to open up a new window.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
