The link you posted includes an "Add to Firefox" button that will install the add-on.

Is this a 'Safe' source and is it necessary? I am running Ubuntu 10.04, Firefox 3.6.12.

Do you connect to open WiFi networks, or those with WEP encryption? If you do you could potentially be at risk. If you use WiFi networks that use WPA or WPA2 then you are not at risk.

I use WPA2 and MAC Filtering on my home 802.11g network. Thanks!
