All of a sudden email we print are defaulting to 4 X 6 paper. How do we get it to stay set for Letter?
We had been able to print emails fine on letter size paper. One day it started printing a very condensed version of the email on 1/4 of the paper. When we checked the paper size, it is now defaulting to 4 X 6 paper. We can change it to Letter, but we don't know how to get it to default to Letter so we don't need to change the size every time we print.

Try to reset the print prefs on the about:config page.
I have this problem too..... Resetting the print prefs on about:config does not fix this problem. Problem occurs when printing from Thunderbird 3.1.4 After each Thunderbird restart, print paper size is reset to 4x6 Printer is a Canon MP560 if it matters Default paper size for the printer is 8.5x11
