When Firefire open a siren sound starts. Started today. How do I stop it. If not resolve must return to IE.

The CoolPreview add-on in Firefox is the culprit. Uninstall this add-on from Firefox will solve the problem. and by the way, today is PACman 30'th birthday. I believe it's something related to this issue.

I disabled and then deleted Cool previews and the Siren stopped as soon as I hit the uninstall button. Why the heck did it happen though? Di cool previews want people to stop using their add on or what?

I found the problem--- IT COMES FROM GOOGLE-- USE IE8 AND YOU WILL SEE PACKMAN THAT IS THE PROBLEM..... How do we KILL PACKMAN ON GOOGLE HOME PAGE???.

I had the same problem starting today and removing CoolPreview worked perfect.

I disabled cool previews and it solved the problem, and cool previews website now has a fix for the bad version of cool previews. installed the new version and problem is solved.

How do I disable CoolPreview? Platform is Windows XP
