Continual reload of sign in page

Windows 11 PC using latest Firefox browser.

Suddenly, today, I can no longer sign in to my usual grocery shopping account, which I have been using without problems for many years. Firefox takes me to the home page but, when I try to sign in, the sign in page just keeps reloading and will not allow me to enter a username or password. I have cleared cache, cookies, and browser data, disabled virus/malware detection, turned off Windows fast start, restarted the PC but it makes no difference. I can sign-in using Chrome with no problem at all.

Could you paste the exact login page link here, to verify what the site is doing — in case that happens before any credentials are needed, as I understand from your description.

Also try restarting into Troubleshoot Mode (from Help menu) to eliminate any addon interfering with the site's operation, to see if that signin improves.

Hi jbr and thanks for taking the time to respond. I seem to have fixed the issue when I noticed a small Malwarebytes icon top right of the firefox toolbar and it had a small number that was ticking up every time the page reloaded. I right-clicked and disabled the ad-tracker (which I didn't even know I had) and all was well again. I thought I had disabled Malwarebytes anyway but it seems it automatically activated again on PC restart. I had not changed any settings before this happening so could not understand why it suddenly started. Anyway, thanks again for your time!
